Virginia High School Volleyball - Rural Retreat routed by Bland County

The Bland County Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Rural Retreat Indians to 0 in the Bears non-league victory on Monday.

The Bears now have a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Auburn for a Mountain Empire game on Tuesday, October 3. Bland County will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 13-3.

The Indians (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Holston (Damascus, VA). The Cavaliers enter the Hogoheegee game with a 3-10 record. In their last game, Holston gained a win over Council (Council, VA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
