In Monday's non-league battle, the host Pierce County Bears volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Brantley County Herons.
The Bears (21-8) will now prepare for their battle against South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 17-13 record. In their last battle, South Effingham lost by Savannah Arts Academy (Savannah, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Herons clash with the Colquitt County Packers (Norman Park, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Brantley County will attempt to advance on its 6-22 season record. The Packers come into the battle with a 15-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Tift County (Tifton, GA).
