The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the John Jay Wolves (Cross River, NY) and the host Brooklyn Tech Engineers (Brooklyn, NY), saw John Jay's volleyball squad beat Brooklyn Tech by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, John Jay upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Wolves travel to Somers (Lincolndale, NY) to play the Tuskers in a Section 1 Conference 2 - C bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Tuskers go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Somers won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT)

The Engineers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Midwood for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 5. Brooklyn Tech will play a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 league win over New Utrecht (Brooklyn, NY). The Hornets record now stands at 2-0.
