The Calhoun Tigers volleyball team (Letohatchee, AL), was dropped 2-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Verbena Red Devils (Verbena, AL)

The Red Devils (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Dallas County (Plantersville, AL). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Dallas County was dropped by Hatch (Uniontown, AL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Lanier Poets (Montgomery, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 4. Calhoun will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Poets enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Central (Hayneville, AL).
