With the win, Piggott betters its record to 6-9 on the year. The Mohawks travel to Hoxie (Hoxie, AR) to face the Mustangs in a 3A Northeast outing on Tuesday, October 3. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 5-12.

The Cavemen now sport a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Walnut Ridge for a 3A Northeast outing on Tuesday, October 3. Cave City will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-6.
