In Monday's non-league contest, the John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Charles City Panthers (Charles City, VA), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Justices battle the J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA) in a Colonial contest, on Tuesday, October 3. John Marshall will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Manchester (Midlothian, VA).

With the loss, Charles City moves to 1-13 on the year. The Panthers travel to King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA) to battle the Royal Tigers in a Tidewater contest on Wednesday, October 4. The Royal Tigers go into the contest with a record of 2-12. King & Queen Central lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against West Point (West Point, VA)
