Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Somerset over Chestnut Ridge

October 2, 2023: Somerset, PA 15501

The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA) and the visiting Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA), saw Somerset's volleyball squad beat Chestnut Ridge by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Somerset upgrades its record to 13-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Forest Hills (Sidman, PA) to play the Rangers in a Laurel Highlands 2 bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 19-3. Forest Hills won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA)

The Lions now own a 11-10 record. They play next when they host Bishop Carroll for a Laurel Highlands 2 bout on Tuesday, October 3. Chestnut Ridge will play a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 6-5.
