Alabama High School Volleyball - Chilton County can't hold off Stanhope Elmore

October 2, 2023: Millbrook, AL 36054

In Monday's non-league battle, the host Stanhope Elmore Mustangs volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Chilton County Tigers.

The Mustangs (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Holtville (Deatsville, AL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Holtville was edged by Marbury (Marbury, AL), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Benjamin Russell Wildcats (Alexander City, AL) in a 6A Area 5 battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Chilton County will attempt to advance on its 12-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Calera (Calera, AL).
