Next up, the Thunderhawks clash with the Weskan Coyotes (Weskan, KS) in a Western Kansas Liberty match, on Monday, October 2. Wheatland-Grinnell will attempt to advance on its 22-6 season record. The Coyotes come into the match with a 1-16 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Deer Trail (Deer Trail, CO).

With the loss, Dighton drops to 11-11 on the campaign. The Hornets host Greeley County (Tribune, KS) to clash with the Jackrabbits in a non-league match on Tuesday, October 3. The Jackrabbits come into the match with a record of 21-4. Greeley County lost 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Wallace County (Sharon Springs, KS)
