California High School Volleyball - Hawkins can't hold off Port of Los Angeles

In Monday's league battle, the host Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Hawkins Hawks.

The Polar Bears (13-10) will now prepare for their battle against GALA (Los Angeles, CA). The Goddesses come into the Coliseum battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, GALA nudged King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Glendale Nitros (Glendale, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 6. Hawkins will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Nitros come into the battle with a 20-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Muir (Pasadena, CA).
