In Monday's non-league battle, the host Webster County Trojans volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons.
The Trojans (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 10-13 record. In their last battle, Caldwell County was edged by Todd County Central (Elkton, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Maroons encounter the Hopkinsville Tigers (Hopkinsville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Madisonville-North Hopkins will attempt to move on its 9-18 season record.
