The Notre Dame Spirits volleyball team (Salinas, CA), went down 3-1 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting Monte Vista Christian Mustangs (Watsonville, CA)

The Mustangs (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilroy (Gilroy, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 9-8 record. In their last challenge, Gilroy defeated Gunderson (San Jose, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spirits encounter the Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA) in a Pacific Coast - Gabilan challenge, on Wednesday, October 4. Notre Dame will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Haybalers come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 3-1 league loss to Pacific Grove (Pacific Grove, CA).
