The Samson Tigers prevailed the visiting Zion Chapel Rebels volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wicksburg for a 2A Area 2 test on Tuesday, October 3. Samson will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Geneva County (Hartford, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 9-9.
The Rebels (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Highland Home (Highland Home, AL). The Flying Squadron enter the 2A Area 5 test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Highland Home dropped by Charles Henderson (Troy, AL), 3-2, in a non-league test.
