The Dunbar Poets walloped the host Edmondson-Westside Red Storm football team by a score of 52-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Poets play the Patterson Clippers (Baltimore, MD) in a Baltimore City I challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Dunbar will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Clippers go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 28-6 league loss to Digital Harbor (Baltimore, MD).
The Red Storm (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Poly (Baltimore, MD). The Engineers go into the Baltimore City I challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Poly was ripped by Mergenthaler Vo-Tech (Baltimore, MD), 44-7, in a league challenge.
