California High School Flag Football - Rio Linda nips Casa Roble

The crowd at Wednesday's league contest between the Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) and the visiting Casa Roble Rams (Orangevale, CA), witnessed Rio Linda's flag football squad edge Casa Roble by a tally of 25-18.

The Knights (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against El Camino (Sacramento, CA). The Eagles enter the Golden Empire League contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, El Camino was nudged by Dixon (Dixon, CA), 28-12, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Rams battle the Woodland Wolves (Woodland, CA) in a Golden Empire League contest, on Monday, October 7. Casa Roble will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Wolves enter the contest with a 3-7 record after their 12-6 league win over Destiny Christian Academy (Sacramento, CA).
