Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team triumph over the visiting Everett Alvarez Eagles (Salinas, CA), 47-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Hollister improves its record to 14-4 on the season. The Haybalers host Monterey (Monterey, CA) to play the Dores in a battle on Monday, October 7. The Dores go into the battle with a record of 4-4. Monterey won 28-7 in their recent league battle against Soledad (Soledad, CA)

The Eagles now have a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Watsonville for a battle on Monday, October 7. Everett Alvarez will play a Wildcatz team coming off a 18-16 league win over King City (King City, CA). The Wildcatz record now stands at 4-14.
