In their next game, the Golden Eagles face the Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 9. Jacobs will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 44-0 league loss to Round Lake (Round Lake, IL).

The Whip-Purs (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Wauconda (Wauconda, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 12-6 record. In their last challenge, Wauconda lost by Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL), 19-6, in a non-league challenge.
