The Sacramento Adventist Capitals flag football squad scored 48 points and limited the host Mesa Verde Mavericks to 0 in the Capitals league triumph on Wednesday.

The Capitals now sport a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Futures for a Sierra Delta League test on Monday, October 7. Sacramento Adventist will meet a Knights squad coming off a 39-0 league win over Encina (Sacramento, CA). The Knights record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Mesa Verde drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Elite (Vallejo, CA) to meet the Eagles in a Sierra Delta League test on Tuesday, October 8.
