Next, the Bears battle the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) in a 5A District 2 contest, on Saturday, October 5. La Cueva will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Demons enter the contest with a 9-4 record after their 5-1 league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM).
The Jaguars (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs enter the 5A District 2 contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Manzano was overwhelmed by Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 4-0, in a league contest.
