The Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Spartans (Durham, NC) soccer overwhelmed the host Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC), 9-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Spartans now hold a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Carrboro for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 9. Southern School of Energy and Sustainability will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Vance County moves to 1-5 on the year. The Vipers travel to Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 9. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 2-4.
