With the win, Marvin Ridge improves its record to 16-0 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Monday, October 7. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 8-5. Sun Valley lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Weddington (Matthews, NC)

The Cavaliers now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charlotte Catholic for a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. Cuthbertson will face a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Butler (Matthews, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 9-4.
