In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Lee Williams Volunteers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Mohave Thunderbirds.
The Volunteers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record.
Next, the Thunderbirds meet the St. Mary's Knights (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 7. Mohave will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ).
