In Wednesday's league outing, the host Murphy Bulldogs soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 win over the Andrews Wildcats.
The Bulldogs (4-8) will now prepare for their outing against Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Maroon Devils enter the Smoky Mountain 1A outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Swain County tipped Tri-County (Murphy, NC), 3-2, in a league outing.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A outing, on Monday, October 7. Andrews will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Highlanders enter the outing with a 5-5 record after their 0-0 league Swain County (Bryson City, NC).
