In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Loyola Blakefield Dons soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Archbishop Curley Friars.
The Dons (10-0) will now prepare for their outing against Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD). The Cavaliers go into the MIAA A outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Archbishop Spalding got by Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Friars play the McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, October 5. Archbishop Curley will attempt to improve on its 10-1 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 4-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD).
