In Wednesday's league outing, the host Rio Grande Ravens soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars.
The Ravens (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs go into the 5A District 5 outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Albuquerque by Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 4-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Jaguars play the Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) in a 5A District 5 outing, on Saturday, October 5. Atrisco Heritage Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 1-11 record after their 8-0 league loss to West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM).
