New York High School Soccer - AuSable Valley nudges Lake Placid

In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting AuSable Valley Patriots soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Lake Placid Bombers.
The Patriots (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Northern Adirondack (Ellenburg Depot, NY). The Bobcats go into the Northern outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Northern Adirondack was edged by Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Bombers play the Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY) in a outing, on Friday, October 4. Lake Placid will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Griffins go into the outing with a 3-5 record after their 4-1 league loss to Chazy (Chazy, NY).
