In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Champlain Valley Union Redhawks soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers.

The Redhawks (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT). The Bobwhites/Comets go into the Metro outing with a 2-7 record. In their last outing, Bellows Free Academy by South Burlington (South Burlington, VT), 4-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Burlington Seahorses (Burlington, VT) in a Metro outing, on Friday, October 4. St. Johnsbury Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Seahorses go into the outing with a 8-2 record after their 5-2 league loss to Essex (Essex Junction, VT).
