The Clinton Dark Horses smashed the visiting West Bladen Knights soccer squad by a score of 9-0 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Dark Horses (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Red Devils enter the Southeastern Athletic 2A battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Red Springs ran past St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC), 4-3, in a league battle.
Next up, the Knights confront the Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) in a Southeastern Athletic 2A battle, on Monday, October 7. West Bladen will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 8-3 record after their 2-2 non-league Triton (Erwin, NC).
