The Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) soccer overwhelmed the host Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC), 6-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Knights now hold a 9-4 record. They play next when they host First Flight for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Monday, October 7. Currituck County will encounter a Nighthawks squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 10-0.
With the loss, Northeastern moves to 1-11 on the year. The Eagles travel to Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC) to encounter the Panthers in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Monday, October 7. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Pasquotank County lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC)
