North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Delaware Valley Warriors (Milford, PA), 8-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, North Pocono moves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Valley View (Archbald, PA) to clash with the Cougars in a Lackawanna - Division I test on Monday, October 7. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 7-5. Valley View lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA)
The Warriors now sport a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warwick for a non-league test on Friday, October 4. Delaware Valley will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-5.
