Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds (Dearborn, MI) and the host Woodhaven Warriors (Brownstown, MI), saw Edsel Ford's soccer squad knock off Woodhaven by a count of 3-1.

The Thunderbirds (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Allen Park (Allen Park, MI). The Jaguars enter the Downriver battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Allen Park by Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Warriors battle the Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI) in a Downriver battle, on Monday, October 7. Woodhaven will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Marauders enter the battle with a 5-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Milan (Milan, MI).
