The Phelps Lions soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Hill School Rams to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Lions now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Life Center Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 5. Phelps will play a Warriors squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Hun (Princeton, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 3-11.
With the loss, Hill School moves to 4-3 on the year. The Rams host Peddie (Hightstown, NJ) to play the Falcons in a Mid-Atlantic Prep A bout on Saturday, October 5. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Peddie lost 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Windsor-Plainsboro North (Plainsboro, NJ)
