Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME) and the visiting Islesboro Central Eagles (Islesboro, ME), saw Richmond's soccer squad triumph over Islesboro Central by a count of 7-2.

The Bobcats (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME). The Hawks enter the non-league battle with a 0-8 record. In their last battle, Sacopee Valley was overwhelmed by Wells (Wells, ME), 7-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Eagles battle the St. Dominic Saints (Lewiston, ME) in a Class D - South battle, on Thursday, October 3. Islesboro Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Saints enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Waynflete (Portland, ME).
