The Pirates (12-4) will now prepare for their battle against Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles enter the United Eight 3A/4A battle with a 0-10 record. In their last battle, Douglas Byrd by Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC), 7-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A battle, on Monday, October 7. South View will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 4-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC).
