The North Forsyth Vikings soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Morehead Panthers to 0 in the Vikings league victory on Wednesday.

The Vikings now hold a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to McMichael for a Mid-State 2A bout on Monday, October 7. North Forsyth will play a Phoenix squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to West Stokes (King, NC). The Phoenix record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Morehead moves to 4-6 on the year. The Panthers host Reidsville (Reidsville, NC) to play the Rams in a Mid-State 2A bout on Monday, October 7. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Reidsville won 4-0 in their recent league bout against T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC)
