The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Brashear Tigers (Brashear, MO) and the visiting Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, MO), observed Brashear's softball team get by Atlanta by a tally of 6-3.

The Tigers (6-4) will now prepare for their bout against Bevier (Bevier, MO). The Wildcats go into the Class 1 District 11 bout with a 5-11 record. In their last bout, Bevier tipped Meadville (Meadville, MO), 9-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Novinger Wildcats (Novinger, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 4. Atlanta will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-14 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Princeton (Princeton, MO).
