The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Winnetonka Griffins (Kansas City, MO) and the visiting Lincoln College Prep Blue Tigers (Kansas City, MO), observed Winnetonka's softball team notch a victory over Lincoln College Prep by a final score of 21-6.

The Griffins (12-7) will now prepare for their bout against Kearney (Kearney, MO). The Bulldogs go into the Class 4 District 5 bout with a 21-4 record. In their last bout, Kearney gained a win over Excelsior Springs (Excelsior Springs, MO), 5-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Blue Tigers battle the Sherwood Marksmen (Creighton, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, October 9. Lincoln College Prep will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Marksmen come into the outing with a 5-13 record after their 11-10 non-league loss to Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO).
