Florida High School Volleyball - Archbishop McCarthy over Sagemont

Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks (Fort Lauderdale, FL) and the host Sagemont Prep (Weston, FL), observed Archbishop McCarthy's volleyball team top Sagemont by a count of 3-1.

The Mavericks (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, St. Thomas Aquinas notched a victory over Venice (Venice, FL), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Prep battle the Westminster Academy Lions (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 7. Sagemont will attempt to move on its 15-7 season record.
