In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Arroyo Knights volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Mountain View Vikings.

The Knights (4-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Rosemead (Rosemead, CA). The Panthers enter the Mission Valley challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, Rosemead beat Marshall (Pasadena, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the South El Monte Eagles (South El Monte, CA) in a Mission Valley challenge, on Friday, October 4. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 13-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA).
