In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Bayonne Bees volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the North Bergen Bruins.
The Bees (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Union City (Union City, NJ). The Soaring Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Union City beat Snyder (Jersey City, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bruins meet the Kearny Kardinals (Kearny, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 4. North Bergen will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Kardinals enter the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over McNair Academic (Jersey City, NJ).
