In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Berea Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls.
The Pirates (3-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Pineville (Pineville, KY). The Mountain Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, Pineville beat Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Owls / Lady Owls meet the Jackson City Tigers (Jackson, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 4. Owsley County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record.
