In Wednesday's non-league match, the Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN) volleyball squad prevailed the host Tri Titans (Straughn, IN), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Vikings confront the Union Rockets (Modoc, IN) in a Mid-Eastern match, on Thursday, October 3. Blue River Valley will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Rockets enter the match with a 4-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wapahani (Selma, IN).

The Titans (6-10) will now prepare for their match against Union County (Liberty, IN). The Patriots enter the Tri-Eastern match with a 11-8 record. In their last match, Union County notched a victory over Centerville (Centerville, IN), 3-1, in a league match.
