In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Bonnabel Bruins volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the West St. John Rams.
The Bruins (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA). The Cubs go into the Division I District 8 battle with a 21-5 record. In their last battle, Mt. Carmel achieved victory over St. Joseph's Academy (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Rams now own a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. James for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. West St. John will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-4.
