North Carolina High School Volleyball - Carver crushed by Parkland

In Wednesday's non-league match, the Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC) volleyball squad overcame the host Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Reagan Raiders (Pfafftown, NC) in a Central Piedmont 4A match, on Thursday, October 3. Parkland will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 23-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC).

The Yellowjackets (4-12) will now prepare for their match against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC). The Bobcats enter the Northwest Piedmont 1A match with a 2-12 record. In their last match, Piedmont Classical was outscored by Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-0, in a league match.
