The St. John-Vianney Lancers topped the visiting Donovan Catholic Griffins volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Lancers confront the Red Bank Catholic Caseys (Red Bank, NJ) in a Shore B - North game, on Friday, October 4. St. John-Vianney will attempt to advance on its 11-3 season record. The Caseys go into the game with a 6-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ).

The Griffins (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ). The Wildcats go into the Shore B - South game with a 12-2 record. In their last game, Pinelands Regional gained a win over Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), 2-0, in a league game.
