Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) and the visiting El Camino Real Royals (Woodland Hills, CA), observed Taft's volleyball team hold off El Camino Real by a count of 3-2.

The Toreadors (27-6) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland (Reseda, CA). The Cavaliers enter the West Valley contest with a 13-12 record. In their last contest, Cleveland was tipped by Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Royals meet the Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) in a West Valley contest, on Monday, October 7. El Camino Real will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 3-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA).
