The Elbert County Blue Devils edged the visiting Washington-Wilkes Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Wednesday's league game.
Next up, the Blue Devils face the Lake Oconee Academy Titans (Greensboro, GA) in a 1A Area 8 game, on Wednesday, October 2. Elbert County will attempt to advance on its 9-17 season record. The Titans go into the game with a 17-7 record after their 1-0 league win over Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA).
The Tigers (0-11) will now prepare for their game against Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA). The Storm go into the 1A Area 8 game with a 24-15 record. In their last game, Providence Christian Academy nudged Rabun County (Tiger, GA), 2-0, in a league game.
