The Garinger Wildcats topped the host Sugar Creek Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern 4A game, on Tuesday, October 8. Garinger will attempt to advance on its 3-12 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 6-11 record after their 3-1 league win over Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC).
The Wildcats (4-11) will now prepare for their game against Carolina International (Concord, NC). The Comets go into the Metro Eight 1A game with a 5-11 record. In their last game, Carolina International gained a win over Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
