California High School Volleyball - Yerba Buena over Gilroy

In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Gilroy Mustangs.

With the win, Yerba Buena improves its record to 6-9 on the season. The Aztec Warriors host Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA) to encounter the Saints in a BVAL - Santa Teresa East battle on Wednesday, October 9. The Saints go into the battle with a record of 2-9.

The Mustangs now own a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hill for a BVAL - Santa Teresa East battle on Friday, October 4. Gilroy will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 17-4.
