Next up, the Knights battle the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) in a Three Rivers match, on Thursday, October 3. James River will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Buffaloes enter the match with a 4-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA).

The Highlanders (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Cougars come into the Three Rivers outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Patrick County defeated North Stokes (Danbury, NC), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
